The opinion of Csaba Grózer, the developer and producer of the double-arm bow:

“The development goal has been to create a shorter than usual take-down reflex bow with a
unique design.

The arms’ complex movement has been an important aspect to achieve higher speed.
It gave birth to the double arm bow with a tilting reflex part at the ends.
Three different types of movements accumulate energy in this bow:

• bending
• turning
• torsion-compression

There is a slight “lightening” at the end of the draw, synchronized by a tilting mechanism.
However there is not a “let-off” like on the compound bows, more like the short bending arms
don’t stiffen as much. The bow can be adjusted in the direction of the “lightening” by a little
grub-screw or changing the diameter of the castor-wheels.

The material of the arms is an X-Carbon laminate combined with a super strong glass,
stronger than the “S” glass. The X-Carbon provides full resistance to twisting, an important
feature that allowed building such an extreme bow design.

The tiller can be adjusted in the usual way at the base of the upper arm or with a small grub-
screw at the end of the lower torsion arm.
The reflex arm connects to the other 2 arms with a a dual axle hinge. The lower axle has a fix
angle while the upper one is changing its angle while drawing and releasing.

Based on my 30 years of experience as bow developer and producer I  would categorize this
bow as a reflex bow, neither compound nor any other.”

New version(2025) adjustment:

The strength of the bow can be adjusted with the tiller screw. But there is an optimal position. If you set it stronger, then the limbs move away from each other, the “let-off” will be later, the draw length will be longer. And vice versa. This will also improve the “draw force curve”.

You can then tune it by replacing the rollers if necessary. There are 20, 22, 24mm support rollers. So you can set again everything to the optimum for the given archer. If this interval is not enough, then there are two length sizes of limbs.( but I only send this on request above 31″) . But the draw length can also be increased by changing the string. So with longer string will be the draw length longer. But then the tiller screws will have to be tightened more.

A fejlesztő, gyártó gondolatai, véleménye a duplakaros íjról

A szokásosnál rövidebb „take down” reflex íj tervezése volt a cél, mely formavilágában is egyedi.
Fontos szempont az összetett mozgás, mivel ez nagyobb sebességet is eredményez. Ezen gondolatok miatt jött létre a duplakaros megoldás, végén a billenő reflex résszel.

Ebben az íjban három mozgás valósul meg egyszerre:
 – hajlik
 – fordul
 – torzul

Enyhén lekönnyül, ezt egy billenő mechanizmus szinkronizálja, viszont itt nincs „let-off”, mint a csigás
íjaknál, inkább csak annyi, hogy a rövid íjkarok nem keményednek fel túlságosan. De ennek ellenére,
a lekönnyülés irányába az íj beállítható egy kis hernyó csavarral, illetve a tartó görgők átmérőjének
változtatásával.

A karok anyaga egy X-karbon lamináció, extra- szuper erős üveggel kombinálva, amely az „S” üvegnél is erősebb.

Az X-karbon teljesen csavarodás állóvá teszi az íjat, amelyre szükség is van az extrém íjforma miatt.
A tiller állítható, egyrészt a megszokott módon, a felső hajlós kar tövénél, illetve egy kis hernyó
csavarral az alsó torziós kar végén.

A két karhoz a reflex egy-egy zsanéron keresztül csatlakozik, amely két tengellyel van ellátva. Az alsó
felfogatási szög fix, a felső szög változik a tengely körül, hajlítás és lövés során.

30 éves íj fejlesztői és gyártói tapasztalatom alapján, ez a konstrukció mindenképp egy reflex íj
kategória. Semmiképp nem sorolnám csigás íj vagy egyéb kategóriába.

Az új Verzió(2025) beállítása:

Az íj erőssége a tiller csavarral állítható. De van egy optimális pozíció. Ha erősebbre állítod, akkor a karok eltávolodnak egymástól, így a “letoff” később lesz, a draw length pedig hosszabb lesz (és fordítva). Ez a “feszítőerő görbét” is javítja.

Ezután szükség esetén a görgők cseréjével finomhangolhatod: 20, 22, 24 mm-es támasztógörgők vannak. Tehát mindent újra beállíthatsz az adott íjász számára optimálisra. Ha ez az intervallum nem elég, akkor kétféle karhosszméret létezik. (de ezt csak kérésre küldöm 31″ felett). A „draw lenght” növelhető az ideg cseréjével is. Tehát hosszabb húrral a feszítőhossz is hosszabb lesz. De akkor a tiller csavarokat is jobban meg kell húzni.
